Community Town Hall | Oct 14 at 7pm

The Hon. Gloria J. Epstein, Head of the Independent Civilian Review into Missing Person Investigations, invites the community to join a virtual town hall meeting on Wednesday, October 14th at 7pm.

The Independent Review was established to examine how to promote efficient, effective, and bias-free missing person investigations by the Toronto Police Service, particularly as they relate to the LGBTQ2S+ communities and vulnerable or marginalized communities.

The Review wants to hear how the community feels about these issues, and more generally, how the Service could improve its relationship with affected communities. Attendees can expect to hear takeaways from the public engagement survey launched in November 2019, as well as an overview of the Review’s mandate, process and work to date.
